Xsigo Introduces Its New 'Performance Manager'

Xsigo has introduced a plug-in product for its XMS Management Interface. The new Xsigo Performance Manager gives administrators a clear view of the I/O traffic in servers, storage and network components, alerting them of any issues which may affect the user experience in enough time to resolve them before they do.

Included in the solution is the collection of detailed data from both virtualised and standalone resources, and the ability to analyse both long term and short term trends by layering old and new data alongside various granular resource views.

Z Kerravala, principal analyst with ZK Research said: “By providing a real time and historical view of data traffic at multiple levels, from virtual machines to network connections and Fibre Channel storage, the Xsigo Performance Manager can provide valuable insight to help identify and fix performance bottlenecks before they impact service delivery.”
